With the acquisition of the business activities of the Swabian company 3C Digital GmbH, modico Graphic Systems completes its portfolio of LFP machines, large-format CNC routers and web printers.
3C Digital’s business operations will in future be taken over by modico Graphics and integrated into the existing company. As a result of the acquisition, modico Graphics will become the exclusive distribution partner in the German-speaking market and the Benelux region for machines manufactured by BIGPRINTER, based in Moscow. Its products – such as the BIGPRINTER The 2031 iPM, with its print area of 310 cm x 202 cm, is already in high demand in Russia and Asia. In addition, BIGPRINTER also develops and manufactures large-format roll-to-roll printing systems and CNC milling machines.
For modico, the acquisition represents a commitment to continue managing 3C Digital GmbH’s existing customer relationships to the highest modico standards. Furthermore, as an international company, modico can use this opportunity to further expand its distribution partnerships. For modico customers, the future offering means comprehensive product range advice in UV printing. From small- and medium-format devices such as Azon, NeonJet or Mimaki’s UJF series, right through to high-speed flatbed printing systems with up to 16 print heads and a print speed of up to 300 m2 per hour.
